Christmas with Christine

Christine and Santa or as she calls him HoHo

Christine is 23 months old now and she really enjoyed the Holiday season.Almost as much as we anjoyed watching her reactions to everything. She got to meet Santa Claus,at our church, and told him she wanted a tricycle, which she got along with several other presents.Opening gifts was exciting and she helped everyone open them. She really liked all the colorful lights and Christmas Trees, but I think her favorite was our lighted Nativity Scene and Baby Jesus, she would get down and hug Baby Jesus.

There has been no change in her condition that we can tell, her last check-up in Nov. showed no increase in the pressures that the Doctors are montoring. We will go to St.Louis in Feb. for a heart catheter.Which is a better indicator of how her problem is developing.

PaPa and MeMe

Our whole world changed when Christine was born on Feb.5th2008.  It is very hard to put the emotions into words.

A miracle with her name on it

A Mother's Blessing

Well my brothers are tough acts to follow, but I will take a shot at it.

Aunt Kayla's Litle Princess

Princess and Aunt Kayla at Easter

Thinking back today about how far My Little Princess Christine has come makes me break down and cry. Everyone has talked about the day God Blessed us with her and the problems she soon faced.  The whole family begged for God to heal our precious little one and in His way he did. Thank's be to God that every time life has put an obstacle in her way He has answered our prayers. She is so precious. To see her you would'nt think that her little life is in such danger each and every second!  It was such a blessing to get to spend time with her yesterday!  Which it is any time I get a chance to be with her!  She has an angelic smile, a laugh that just lightens the day, and her personality that makes you never want to be away from her. I hope everyone who reads this will pray with us once again for the healing that our angel needs!

All that know me know that blogging is a little out of my comfort zone, but here we go.

Uncle Roy's Blog

I'll never forget the day little Christine was born.  My wife, Kayla, and I got the call early in the morning and raced to the hospital eager to welcome the newest member of our family.  Jammie was already with the doctor when we got there so we settled in to wait.  After a little while it became apparent that something wasn't quite right.  All sorts of things raced through our minds.  We stayed calm and prayed.  We thought the not-knowing was unbearable.  We were wrong; knowing was worse.

Christine was airlifted to Little Rock very shortly after birth.  I remember there were several tornados in the area that day, which only added to everyone's stress.  We were so worried for her and my heart broke for my little sister who wasn't allowed to go with her, since she had just had a ceserian delivery.  The next three days were a blurr and I don't think any of us slept.
